Privacy policy

Last updated October 18, 2026. Festoonify is operated by Hatzhold LLC ("we", "us").

What we collect

• Photos and descriptions you submit. We store them with the plans we make, so your results have a link you can come back to and share. Anyone with that link can see the photo and plans, so please avoid photos showing people, addresses or personal documents.
• Public gallery (opt-in). If you choose "Show in the public gallery", your plan and its pictures appear on our gallery and idea pages. You can turn it off from the plan page or My plans at any time.
• Email for sign-in (optional). If you sign in, we keep your email to send you sign-in links and to list your plans under My plans. There's no password, and we don't send marketing email to it.
• Email for sale-day reminders (opt-in). If you turn on reminders for a plan, we keep your email to send them. We only send after you confirm, and every email has an unsubscribe link.
• Payments. If you buy a pass, our payment processor handles your card. We only keep a record of the purchase and when the pass expires.
• Basic technical data. We briefly use your IP address to prevent abuse, and we count clicks on store links to see what's useful. We don't sell personal data.

How your photos are used

Your photo is sent to the AI models we use to write your plans and create the "after" pictures, under terms that don't allow them to train on it. We don't use your photos to train AI models. Stored photos and pictures are deleted after 60 days.

Cookies and store links

We don't set advertising cookies. If you sign in, we set a cookie that keeps you signed in on that device until you sign out. When you click a store link, that store or its affiliate network may set cookies to credit us with the referral, and their own privacy policies apply on their sites.

Your choices

Sign in to My plans to delete a plan and its photos yourself. To have a plan deleted another way, or for any privacy question, email festoon@hatzhold.com with the plan's link.
